Pay It Forward

At Big Sky Stories we believe that every child, regardless of the financial circumstances of their caregivers, has a right to own quality books.

So, whether you’re buying a book through our bricks and mortar bookshop in Broken Hill - One More Page Book Emporium - or shopping on the website, if you’re flash for cash then you can Pay It Forward.

How does it work?

Simple

Purchase a book and we PROMISE to make sure that it gets into the hands of a child who otherwise wouldn’t have access to such a precious and valuable resource. Where possible we will advocate for the child to choose their book from our Pay it Forward selection to encourage a sense of ownership and value of the resource.

Big Sky Stories is excited to now be working in partnership with Far West Local Health District’s Allied Health department to put these books into the hands of children to help create a foundation for learning throughout life and improved wellbeing.

Would you like to be involved?

There are many ways you can be involved and apart from the good feeling that you’ll get, you’ll also be helping to give a child a better start in life (the one they have a right to in actual fact).

  • If you’re an organisation in far west NSW and you’d like to partner with Big Sky Stories to distribute books, then please contact us via our contact form.

  • If you have or know of a child in far west NSW that could benefit from a gifted book, then you can also get in touch. Details of how are on our contact form.

Geez, thanks so much
